Environmental factors hot on the agenda for Industrial and Logistics

Environmental factors were hot on the agenda at the Property Week Industrial and Logistics Conference in Syon Park this week, and it makes sense why.

Generally speaking, industrial buildings continue to be leaky sieves for energy; with cracked roofs, doors left open, old energy hungry sodium lights and single glazing all over the place.

I’m proud to say we’re ahead of the curve there and we demonstrate our social conscience as a matter of course on every acquisition we make. We put on new roofs where necessary, we replace windows, we switch the lighting to high quality LED fittings and fill in the cracks to make sure our buildings are as environmentally friendly and economic as possible for our tenants.
