All beer no bull

Nearly two years ago, at the height of the pandemic, I had my first conversation with Alex Bull, founder of By The Horns brewing company.

In desperate need of more space for production (and, ideally, lower overheads), Alex was looking for a new location from which to brew and can.

With Preston and Preston, he found it.

Our light and spacious industrial sheds offer small businesses ample space in which to grow, and at reasonable rental prices. On an arterial route into London, Alex had no problem moving his staff here from their established Wimbledon site either.

At Preston and Preston Capital, we are very proud to support the growth of SMEs like by The Horns and love being as hands-on in the process as possible. So I recently had another conversation with Alex.

This time it was to talk about the journey these brewers have been on; their delicious, “approachable” ales; and the new direction the company has been able to adventure into at our Salbrook Road unit in Salfords.

It’s been fascinating to find out how much goes into producing those delectable brews and we really do feel privileged to be a part of the progress.

If you take an interest in craft ale, football or indeed, high yielding investment in specialist warehouses, do read the full interview on our website and find out how our building has been instrumental for By The Horns.

And if you’ve already tried a By The Horns beer or two, which was your favourite?

Let me know, and do feel free to ask any questions about our small industrial units and the high yields they promise too.

Formed in 2016, Preston & Preston Capital is a British property investment firm focused on long term ownership, leasing and active management of mixed-use, commercial and light industrial properties. We are constantly seeking new assets to develop and add to our growing high-yield portfolio.
