Industrial sector set to exceed forecasts over the next four years

The latest Savills data suggests rental growth in the industrial and logistics sector is set to exceed forecasts over the next four years, and the national average vacancy rate is currently just 4.8% in this sector.

That means higher occupancy levels, sharper yields for landlords and investors, and continued momentum for the sector this year.

It’s for this reason that Preston & Preston continue to focus on acquiring industrial sheds for upgrade, and growing our diversified portfolio of tenants.  We actively update all our properties with energy saving upgrades to meet future standards. In this case we are replacing older inefficient lighting systems with modern LED units and redecorating for our new tenant.

In our minds, patient capital growth will bring the best balance of risk and reward over time, and diversification will be key to kickstarting that this year.

Formed in 2016, Preston & Preston Capital is a British property investment firm focused on long term ownership, leasing and active management of mixed-use, commercial and light industrial properties. We are constantly seeking new assets to develop and add to our growing high-yield portfolio.
